Robert Magheti (Robi) s-a nascut pe 29 martie 1981 la Timisoara (Berbec). A absolvit in 1999 Liceul de Muzica "Ion Vidu" din localitate specialitatea percutie. In 2005 absolvit Academia de Muzica "Gh. Dima" din Cluj-Napoca la sectia Interpretare Instrumentala - Percutie.
Activitatea sa artistica este foarte bogata in premii obtinute la Olimpiadele Nationale de Muzica din 1993 1999, patru fiind premiul I. In aceeasi perioada a sustinut numeroase concerte solistice in tara si in Europa (Iugoslavia, Franta si Germania), precum si concerte simfonice alaturi de Orchestra Internationala de Tineret Elbe-Wesser in Germania si Islanda, concerte simfonice in colaborare cu filarmonicile din Brasov, Cluj, Craiova, Ramnicu Vilcea si Timisoara, concerte de muzica de camera cu Ansamblul de Percutie al Academiei de Muzica "Gh. Dima" din Cluj-Napoca , Festivalul International de Muzica Universitara de la Belfort - Franta (1999).
